Stringo Options

Foot Protector
A rubber skirt is fitted at the driver position, to reduce the risk of foot damage.


Roll Protector
A formed steel plate fitted on the inclined planes, prevents the vehicle from rolling over the inclined planes. Can only be used if there is enough clearance under the vehicle.


Foldable Roll Protector
Reduces the length of incline plane & prevents cars with small wheel/tyre diameters from rolling on planes of standard length.


Automatic Roll Protector
Incorporated within the press arm, the roll protector automatically rotates to a raised position on the press arm at the end of the load cycle, preventing the vehicle from rolling over the press arms.

Automatic Roll Protector is standard on machines with low front section.

Foldable Roller Planes
Save space during transport, and makes it possible to change type of loading planes.


Foldable Inclined Planes
Save space during transportation, and makes it possible to change type of loading planes.


Inclined Planes for Widening
A detachable bent steel plate fitted on the inclined plane for increased width.


Roller Planes
A flexible landing plane, to be used for 4WD cars and vehicles with blocked wheels.

A Stringo with Roller Planes 4WD should be equipped with Ø 80 mm Press roller.

Adapted height in the front
Depending on the front wheel diameter (I) the height of the Stringo front section (H+J) is determined. The measurement of the car determines the maximum height of the Stringo front section.

A special type of low front section is available for Stringo 450H, 550 and Stringo 700. A low front section is standard equipped with Automatic Roll Protector and Twin wheels.

Adapted width in the front
The measurement of the cars you intend to move determines what front section width you need on your Stringo.

The front section width of the Stringo comprises the inside and outside measurements of the inclined planes (G+F).

Increased length on front section
The front section can be extended if required.


Adapted height in the rear
The height of the rear section (K) determines the ground clearance.

An increased rear height moves the motor hood higher up from the floor. This is a big benefit while driving over inclines or doorsteps.

Note! A Stringo with increased rear height should be equipped with "Foot Protector".

Lockable Front Wheels
Prevents the front wheels from turning. A big benefit while driving straight in and out in narrow tunnels.


Twin Wheels
Reduce the leverage and makes transport smoother in cramped spaces. Available on front wheels with wheel diameter 60 mm and 70 mm.

Twin wheels is standard on machines with low front section.

Additional Front Wheels
Makes less pressure on the floor, a benefit in facilities with sensitive floors. The Stringo 360, 450 and 475 can be equipped with up to 2 Additional front wheels.


Inside Front Wheels
Makes transports smooth on floors with grooves. A Stringo can be equipped with 2 Inside front wheels.


Soft 80° Shore Front Wheels
Soft Front Wheels are a big benefit in facilities with sensitive floors. Available on front wheels with wheel diameter 70 mm and 85 mm.


Drive Wheel Material
A restricted number of drive wheel types are available.


Batteries
Gel batteries implies less maintenance. Gel batteries are also more environmentally friendly than acid batteries. For transport outside Europe, gel batteries are necessary. Increased battery capacity is available for Stringo 550.


On-board charger incl. start restrictor
With an On Board Charger the charger is mounted on the machine. Charger with Start Restrictor will prevent the operator from driving away with the charger plug connected. Start Restrictor is available in combination with On Board Charger.


Heavy Duty Linear Actuator 6800N
A Linear Actuator for frequent and tough use, usually used in the automotive industries. Available for Stringo 360, 450 and 475.


Press roller Ø80 mm
Gives better support for the car to prevent rolling over the press arms. A Stringo with Roller Planes 4WD should be equipped with Ø 80 mm Press roller.


Central Water Refilling Kit
Facilitate battery maintenance.


Power Steering
Makes turning smooth and easy with heavy loads in the start position.


Crash Decking
A heavy duty steel plate is fitted instead of the top cover plate. Crash deck is very useful for transports of crashed cars and damaged vehicles. The deck has a sloping leading edge at the front.


Ride-on Platform
Allows the operator to ride on the Stringo in a standing position.


Hazard Warning Light
The hazard warning light can be switched on automatically while driving.


Winch
The wire winch can be used for pulling vehicles out from test rigs, such as dynamometers, when it's difficult to reach the vehicle with the Stringo.


Bumper
Protects both the vehicle and battery from damages.


Customized painting


Hill Climb Function
Stringo can be adapted to be used in inclines up to 15%. Hill Climb Function demands a specified surface to give as much friction as possible. The weight of the vehicle must also be specified.


Siren low battery
An alarm will sound when the battery needs to be charged.
